Fannin County School District Mission Statement

The mission of the Fannin County School District is to guarantee that every student in the Fannin County School System is provided an equal opportunity to a quality education, which will enable all students to learn how to appropriately function in a diverse and interdependent society.

Technology is an integral part of the curriculum for students. It is the goal of the of the Fannin County School System to make technology available for Instructional and Administrative uses through out the System. All instructional personnel will be given technical training as needed. All Administrative personnel will be given training on the Student Information System Software as needed.

An instructional goal of the school system is for all students to show improvement in reading, writing and problem-solving skills. Technology will be a resource to reach this goal by teaching technology literacy skills that are aligned with the QCC Technology Integration Standards. Technology will be monitored through the year. Once a year, the Curriculum Director, parents, the Technology Specialist, Principals, and Teachers will meet to be certain that the vision and technology still align.
